Description
This DevOps role blends cloud platform engineering, infrastructure-as-code automation, and operational governance for a multi-layer AI system supporting millions of member interactions. You will own infrastructure for agent runtime, APIs, observability, and secure service-to-service communication in regulated healthcare environments.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve cloud infrastructure for AI/ML agent workloads with deep Terraform/IaC ownership
- Design and maintain highly available infrastructure for agent runtime, APIs, logging, and secure communication
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for containerized AI services (build, test, security scan, deploy, rollback)
- Partner with AI/ML engineers on safe rollout patterns for new agent capabilities
- Drive least-privilege access, secrets management, encryption, network segmentation, and audit readiness
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and distributed tracing to reduce MTTR
- Improve cost, performance, and resiliency via autoscaling, capacity tuning, and failure testing
- Contribute runbooks, incident playbooks, and production readiness reviews
Minimum Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years engineering experience including 4+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering for cloud-native production systems
- Solid CI/CD with GitHub Actions or GitHub Workflows for infra and application delivery
- Experience supporting Python-based services and API applications in production
- Containerized deployment workflows and Kubernetes (or equivalent) orchestration
- Proven Terraform skills: reusable modules, state management, multi-environment patterns, policy enforcement
- Cloud platform depth across compute, networking, access controls, serverless, APIs, storage, monitoring, secrets
- Hands-on Python and shell scripting/automation
- Collaborative stakeholder management across business and technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare or regulated-industry compliance experience
- AI/ML service deployment and observability at scale
- Multi-cloud platform engineering

This is a hybrid role based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, typically requiring 2–3 days on-site per week.
