How we verify jobs

We call listings curated because each role is checked against DevOps/SRE/software scope and a live apply link — not scraped blindly from generic search pages. This page explains the bar we use before something appears on FzlOps.

Where listings come from

Roles enter the board through two paths: hand-submitted postings from companies and recruiters (post a job), and a curated sheet of openings we track from company career pages and reputable sources. Both paths go through the same quality checks before publish.

A job is listed when

1. The posting appears live at the apply URL (or on-site detail page for Markdown jobs).
2. The company or source looks legitimate (known employer, careers site, or reputable board).
3. The role matches DevOps, SRE, Platform, Cloud, Infrastructure, or in-scope software engineering (frontend, backend, fullstack, QA, data/AI when quality is clear). We exclude unrelated IT helpdesk and non-technical generalist spam.
4. The link was checked within the last 24–72 hours (sheet rows may include a lastVerified date; automated checks run on deploy and via CI).

Link quality policy

We prioritize direct company career pages. Aggregator links (Bayt, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, etc.) are allowed only when they point to a specific job posting, not a category search with hundreds of unrelated results. Generic search URLs are rejected at import time.

What we reject

• Broken apply URLs, login walls with no job content, or redirects to unrelated marketing pages
• Category/search hub links that are not a single role
• Roles outside our technical scope (e.g. pure BPO, non-tech sales, generic “IT support” with no platform work)
• Obvious duplicates of an already-listed posting from the same employer
• Postings that look inactive or closed after a verification pass

What “last verified” / “last checked” means

On each card, Last checked is the date we last confirmed the URL responded and still looked like a job posting. If a link breaks or redirects to a search hub, we remove or update the row on the next build or scheduled check. Cadence targets roughly every 24 hours for active sheet rows, with additional checks on deploy.

How this helps candidates

Thin aggregator sites dump thousands of unreviewed rows. Our goal is a smaller, readable list you can trust enough to click — paired with original guides on salaries, interviews, and tooling so the site is useful even when you are not actively applying.
