Summary
Hitachi Vantara is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer in Bengaluru to own on-prem and cloud infrastructure with deep Kubernetes expertise — Helm, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions CI/CD, and Prometheus/Grafana observability.
Description
You will design, implement, and maintain hybrid on-prem/cloud infrastructure with emphasis on Kubernetes orchestration, GitOps delivery, and production observability. The role requires proactive problem-solving and close collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters; troubleshoot and optimize for HA and scale
- Develop and maintain Helm charts for packaging and deploying applications
- Deploy and manage ArgoCD for continuous delivery across environments
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Implement Prometheus monitoring and Grafana dashboards with proactive alerting
- Document infrastructure and deployment processes for knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on application requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in a DevOps role
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes, Helm, GitHub Actions CI/CD, ArgoCD, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) for automation
- Infrastructure as code experience (Terraform, Ansible)
- Solid networking and security principles in hybrid environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- GitOps delivery patterns at scale
- Hybrid cloud operations across on-prem and public cloud
- Platform engineering leadership on data infrastructure products

This role is based on-site in Bengaluru, India.
